
IndyCar racing’s 2014 Firestone Grand Prix is coming to the streets of downtown St. Petersburg the weekend of March 28 – 30. The Firestone Grand Prix is not only one of racing’s most picturesque settings, it’s also first race in the 2014 season for the Verizon IndyCar Series.

Single ticket prices start at $20 for kids and $35 for adults
Parking & Shuttles
On-site parking is extremely limited and only available with event-issued parking passes. Public parking is available nearby in metered spaces or city-owned garages. City parking garages will charge an all-day event rate. Garages include South Core (enter from the north side of 1st Avenue S. between 2nd and 1st Streets) or the BayWalk Garage (enter from 2nd Street N. between 1st and 2nd Avenues N.) Private lots, garages and on-street parking will also be available.
There will be a free shuttle from Tropicana Field parking lots to the race track. Parking at Tropicana Field will be $10. The shuttle will pick passengers up outside the main parking gate at 10th Street N. and 3rd Avenue S. and drop passengers near the Hilton hotel on the north side of 4th Avenue S. between 2nd and 3rd Streets N. (approximately two blocks from Gate 5). The shuttle will operate Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 7am – 7pm.

Gate 1 is located at 1st Avenue S. and 1st Street S., and offers on-site ticket sales.

Gate 5 is located at 5th Avenue S. and 2nd Street N., and offers on-site ticket sales. Gate 5 also houses the Will Call ticket window.

Fun Things To Do Include –
- Verizon IndyCar Series Fan Village – Located by gate 1, next to the Speed Zone, will have numerous displays from the various sponsors of the race. Find out more about the sponsors and what they do to provide excitement all season long.
- Beer Gardens
- Bright House Speed Zone – Located near Turns 5 & 6 and the Firestone Bridge. There are many interactive displays and racing simulators for families and children of all ages. Rock climbing wall, Mechanical Bull and Pit Stop Challenge. The Speed Zone will also host the various autograph sessions to take place during the weekend, including the IndyCar driver session on Saturday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
