Forget Wally World; this summer’s hottest vacation spot is Petco Park.

During a rain delay, most fans run for cover, maybe grab some food from the concession stands, are forced to buy some overpriced merchandise from the pro-shop. Nope. Not on Padre fans watches. Let’s just say…things got pretty weird.

The grounds crew did their part in making sure the field would be playable once the rain subsided, but the fans also did theirs. Even the kids got in on some of the action.

In other precipitation news, and just a short ride up I-5, the Angels game was postponed Sunday because of rain for the first time in 22 years. What is happening in California?!
At least the fans are appreciating the history.
