Yesterday afternoon, Andrew Friedman left his post as President of Baseball Operations for the Tampa Bay Rays to take the same job with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Although the Rays didn’t win a title with Friedman at the helm, he teamed up with manager Joe Maddon to preside over what has been the most successful era in Rays history.

A lot of Rays fans’ immediate reaction to Friedman’s departure was panic. Justin Pawlowski shared his thoughts, adding that Friedman has always treated his players like stocks by selling high and is doing the same with himself. Jim Lighthall believes that the Rays’ championship window hasn’t closed yet, but if they have another mediocre season next year, they’ll have to tear it down. Take a listen as the guys also wonder if Rays fans will look back and think the Rays had a nice run or if fans will believe they missed their shot.
