NFL on CBS analyst Rich Gannon joined The Booger and Ryan Show to give us his take on the Bucs and their QB situation.

Gannon told Booger and Marc that despite who’s under center for the Bucs, this team needs to get the run game going. That’s been one of their biggest issues.

Gannon also mentioned that losing Jeff Tedford is a big blow to the team but he’s liked what Marcus Arroyo has done in the interim.

So can Mike Glennon ever be a franchise QB. Gannon answered that:

“I think he can, Booger, if the situation around him is consistent. In other words, some people say ‘Is the quarterback ready?’ Well how about the team around him? Is the team around him ready? Are they running the football well? Do they have the offensive line straightened out? I mean I think he was pressed into service last year after that 0-3 start, they released Josh Freeman, he goes 4-9 as a starter, that wasn’t a great situation.”
