Greg Cosell of NFL Films joins Fan Interference to break down the previous weekend’s NFL action as well as previewing what’s in store for the following weekend’s games, and this time he got to talk about a Bucs victory!

The discussion began with talk about Mike Glennon’s performance, and Cosell said that even though he needs to be consistent with his accuracy, he made some “big-time throws” and is often willing to pull the trigger on difficult passes. He also mentioned that if Glennon’s anticipation of throws continues to improve, it’ll even make his offensive line look better. Cosell talked about his 21-yard completion to tight end Austin Sefarian-Jenkins as a prime example of this.

Speaking of ASJ, Cosell compared him to Jason Witten, adding that he can block and catch and has a little more athleticism, which bodes well for the Bucs against the Saints. Cosell stated that the Saints’ defense has been playing with “a total lack of discipline” and that Jairus Byrd has played “as poorly as any safety in the NFL”, and also added that the Bucs need to establish the run early in order to have a chance at beating the Saints.
