MMQB’s Greg Bedard joined Booger and Marc to discuss the Bucs trade for guard Logan Mankins.
Bedard said this whole thing started with what Logan Mankins was making with the Patriots. There are reports that Mankins was asked to take a pay cut twice and he refused. Bedard said when he started covering the Patriots in 2010 there was nothing Mankins couldn’t do. He’s not quite at that level now but he’s still one of the best run blocking guards in the game. Bedard said he does think that it was a good trade for the Bucs. They needed another veteran guy, especially on the offensive line, to help build their football program.
