This season for the Tampa Bay Rays has not gone as planned. The team has faced injuries to stars such as Alex Cobb and Matt Moore, and the offense has had a season long drought with the guys that they depend on like Wil Myers and Ben Zobrist.
If the season continues on this path, the Rays maybe forced to think about the future and move some of the players on the big league club that may help with the team moving forward.
It got Fan Interference thinking about what players that are currently on the 40 man roster have the potential to be moved based on how the rest of the season goes. If they do turn things around, could the Rays turn a young outfielder like Brandon Guyer into some help in the bullpen? Could they be out of it and decide it maybe time for a full rebuild and dump some payroll?
All of these scenarios need to be decided upon in this weeks draft.
