Anwar Richardson from Yahoo Sports joined Fan Interference this morning to give us his insight from the pro day of Blake Bortles. Bortles to him was very good as far as pro days go when you put it in the context of the entire package. A lot of the guys Anwar spoke to agreed with that and felt that they saw the zip on the ball and what a lot of scouts and coaches wanted him to work on, his footwork.
One of the fear with Bortles is the lack of a true body of work during his college career like a Mark Sanchez or a Christian Ponder. Bortles ran through a few tests to work on his mental capacity with some coaches and scouts and said that those tests for Blake was far superior to that of Teddy Bridgewater.
Also, Anwar has seen it all. He covered Justin while he was a lineman at Tampa Catholic. Anwar says that Justin had all the potential to go far at the division 1 level, but when he decided to head to Connecticut, that that was the beginning of the end of his football dreams.
