If you haven’t heard, the Ted Wells report on the Miami Dolphins bullying scandal came out today (Read the full report here) and I couldn’t be more pissed off by it.

While it has been widely known that Incognito bullied and harassed Jonathan Martin, many of the gory details weren’t released until today. Let me give you a little taste.

—- Martin related that one day when he showed up to practice one day without showering, Incognito began calling him a “smelly,” “dirty” or “stinky” “Pakistani.”

—- Four days later, Incognito and Player B discussed rifle scopes in text messages.

Player B: Yes. That’s a solid optic made specifically for a .308 battle rifle

Incognito: Perfect for shooting black people

Player B: Lol exactly

—- “We are going to run train on your sister. She loves me. I’m going to #### her without a condom and ### in her ####.”

—- “I’m going to bang the #### out of her and spit on her and treat her like ####.”

Here are some nice words they said to one of their trainers…

—- Incognito, Jerry and Pouncey admitted that they directed racially derogatory words toward him, including “Jap” and “Chinaman.” At times, according to Martin, they referred to the Assistant Trainer as a “dirty communist” or a “North Korean,” made demands such as “give me some water you ####### chink!”

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. I don’t care if this how things are done in the “Locker Room”. Just because “It’s always been this way” doesn’t make it right. I’m also tired of the whole “tough love” garbage. How does threatening to run a train on someone’s sister make them a better offensive lineman? So are you giving the Asian-American trainer “tough love” too??? No! You’re spreading racism and hate.

I also don’t need to hear about how Richie Incognito was bullied as a kid. THAT IS THE PROBLEM!!!! Kids that are bullied become bullies!!! Just like many children that are sexually abused become abusers. It’s a vicious and horrible circle.

The fact is, Richie Incognito, and other offensive John Jerry and Mike Pouncey (who were involved in the bullying, racism and harassment) should be thrown off of the team. How many times do we have to see kids shooting up schools or committing suicide to realize that we all need to do something to help this horrible mistreatment of our fellow humans stop???

One thing that the Miami Dolphins can do is to set an example by cutting all three of these losers. Hopefully these actions force other NFL players like this into changing their attitude.

Any finally, all of our attitudes need to change. If you see someone being bullied or harassed, say something. Sometimes people can’t or aren’t ready to stick up for themselves. If we step up as a society, we can stop it. It’s time for us to fight back…
