From the Tampa Bay Rays, Alex Cobb joined Fan Interference today to talk about his off season. Alex talked about the talk about David Price and Alex feels confident that Daivd Price could remain with the Rays this upcoming season and stay apart of this rotation.

Alex also talked about the way that the Rays operate and knows that the team as it is constructed can be over at any time, so they know that they have to take advantage of the team that they have this year.

Alex also talked about how much he enjoys being a Florida kid who loves playing for the Rays as a kid who grew up coming to the Trop as a fan and now to come here and pitch for the team he watched as a kid.

Last year, Alex did have a rough moment last year when he was hit by a pitch and he talked about how he has gotten past it, and how he tries to not think about that moment that he will find himself out of job.

With another year that the Rays made the playoffs but didn’t reach the ultimate goal of the title, Alex says that going to the playoffs makes him and the team hungrier each off-season to work harder then before to get to the World Series.
