Memorial Day Weekend is about honoring our fallen Military heroes and it’s also a long holiday weekend that most American’s use to welcome the beginning of summer. This three day weekend is full of events that will keep you busy and out of the house or hotel room.

The Sunsets at Pier 60 Festival is a nightly sunset celebration that show free movies on Friday and Saturday nights. There are also artisans, crafters, street performers and musical entertainment.

Memorial Day Family Funfest

Family festival includes rock wall climbing, bounce house, power bungee jumping, face painting, military dress-up, karaoke, a DJ and music. Food vendors will be on hand. Admission: Adults $10 / Youths 4 -12 $5.

Oldsmar Freedom Fest 2012

Bay Pines VA Annual Memorial Day Ceremony

This is the only National Cemetery in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties and the largest observance of Memorial Day with over 3,000 expected attendees. Veterans, their families and friends, and the general public are invited to attend.
