
Starting at 3 p.m. Ybor City becomes a 21 and up costume street party. Party-goers will enjoy multiple outdoor concerts, Mama Guava’s Stumble Parade, costume contest, night clubs, restaurants, and over 50,000 people between the ages of 21-54 just looking to party in the ‘Big Guava’, that’s what Ybor City on Guavaween party watch is called. There’s even a New Orlean’s style bead throwing costume parade.
Headliners for the adults only concert Saturday night are two-time Grammy-nominated Tonic and Platinum and Gold Album selling EVE6.

Tonic – The band’s “Lemon Parade” album went Platinum. They have a compilation CD out titled “A Casual Affair: the Best of Tonic”.
EVE6– A Platinum and Gold selling group, EVE6 is working on their fourth album that will be released in early 2012. Their “Inside Out” hit #1 on the U.S. Modern Rock Chart .
Centro Ybor Stage hosted by Q105
Coo Coo Ca Choo – A Tampa Bay favorite. The group is led by Rodney Justo, currently the lead singer for Atlanta Rhythm Section.
Halloween Express Stage
Scilter – A young band from “the hills” north of Tampa, Zephyrhills that is.
The Costume Contest will be at 10:00 PM.
All stages will have continuous music with station DJs, both before and after live sets. And of course, there will be a break at 8:00 PM for the return of the motorized-parade lead by Grand Marshall “Mama Guava.”

Parking:
Guavaween parking is at the Ft. Brooks or Tampa Port Authority parking garage. You can ride the TECO Line Streetcar System to Ybor.
The street-car hours are from 11:00 a.m until 2:00 a.m. on Saturday. A temporary end of the line will be in front of the trolley car-barn in Ybor from 3:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Exact change is required to purchase fare cards on-board the streetcar.
