Surprisingly large portions help make this place stand out. Those large portions reflect the owner’s philosophy of what makes the restaurant special: the three S’s of sharing, socializing and sangria. Their desserts are recommended. Vizcaya serves up eclectic Spanish cuisine, and even hosts Flamenco nights complete with dancer and a singer/guitarist. The shrimp tapas are recommended, as is the pate of duck liver. Chef/Owner Felix Piedra’s personal touch adds to the ambience. Vizcaya’s authenticity causes many diners to refer to it as a little taste of Spain in Tampa.
