Best Tampa Bay Easter Events For Kids 2013

Easter is a time of reflection and celebration of Jesus’ rising from the dead. But for many, especially children, Easter means egg hunts, games and bunnies. Almost every city and town is having an Easter egg hunt for the children. However, there are many other events around town that can assist a person with the celebration of Easter.

Come out and enjoy a delightful musical parable about Joseph and his coat of many colors. This amazing performance of the biblical saga of Joseph is set to a cornucopia of musical styles that include country-western, calypso, bubble-gum pop and rock ‘n’ roll. Great tasting food is available for purchase and is served by extremely hospitable waiters and waitresses. This wonderful and educational performance can be enjoyed by both young and old. The cost varies depending on whether dinner is purchased along with the show.

This event is both a fun day for kids and a fundraiser for the Epilepsy Services Foundation, Inc. While participants in the fun run event are out on the course, children can enjoy visiting with Ronald McDonald and the Easter Bunny. there will also be food, beverages and raffle prizes. Photos of the kids with the Easter Bunny and Ronald McDonald are available for purchase.

The Crossing Church is presenting The Crown, which features video, music and a re-telling of the Easter story. In addition, there will be an Easter egg hunt for pre-school children. Bring the kiddies to a fun event where they can go hunt for Easter eggs and maybe find a prize egg. The Easter egg hunt will take place before the museum opens for the day. A light breakfast will be served and children will get to speak to and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. There will be a toddler egg hunt for children three years and under. A museum-wide egg hunt will be held for children four years and older that will include chocolate eggs and eggs with toy surprises in them. After the Easter egg hunt, visitors are invited to enjoy the Glazer Museum’s displays.

The entrance fee for this event is only $1 and includes all attractions and the Easter egg hunt. Other attractions include an 18-foot rock wall, slides, moonwalks, petting zoo, horses and more. Photos with the Easter Bunny are also available. Food and drinks can be purchased at an additional cost. Bring the whole family to this fun, all-day event.
