The upcoming 2013 concert season promises to entertain Tampa Bay music enthusiasts with top-notch performances. Let’s take a look at some of the most anticipated acts that will be gracing the stage in the new year.

The Inaugural Sunshine Blues Festival headlines the Tedeschi Trucks Band, winners of four Blues Music Awards and a Grammy Award for “Best Blues Album.” The festival features two stages spotlighting some of the best blues acts in the world. The festival also stars legendary New Orleans blues artist the ‘Nite Tripper’ Dr. John, a five-time Grammy Award winner. Dr. John is a dynamic performer best known for his funky blues “Right Place, Wrong Time.” Also on the bill is Walter Trout, Sonny Landreth, Joe Louis Walker, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band, Matt Schofield, The Wood Brothers, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Sean Chambers and Bobby Lee Rodgers.
