Florida State University Unveils Kid-Friendly Mascot Named 'Cimarron' Officials at Florida State University announced that they will be using a new mascot, a smiling cartoon horse named Cimarron, to act as a family friendly alternative to Renegade and Chief Osceola at certain events.
