The Tampa Bay Buccaneers place guard Carl Nicks and tight end Danny Noble on the injured reserve. This is the second guard the Bucs have placed on IR. The move comes days before facing their Super Bowl rivals, Oakland Raiders.

The Buccaneers donated $100,000 to the Greenwood Panthers, a youth football and cheerleading organization in Clearwater, to help build a field and get them new uniforms. The stadium will be getting lights, grass, an irrigation system and goal posts.
