There’s nothing that beats the pleasures of Florida living like enjoying a boat parade in sports shirts, shorts and flip-flops while the rest of the nation is just digging in for a long, cold winter. Two of the biggest and best boat parades in the Tampa Bay area are set for December 8 and are only a few miles apart with one in St. Petersburg and another at the beach community of Treasure Island.
Wild Wonderland promises to be a magical adventure for the whole family. Lowry Park Zoo will close daily at 5 p.m. in order to prepare for the magic and merriment that is Wild Wonderland. The park will re-open daily at 6:30 p.m. for this annual winter event that has over a million lights twinkling throughout the zoo.
Whether you’re an expert or someone just looking for a chance to try something new, there’s a rink near you.
