Obama Nominates Second Openly Gay Black Man To Federal Bench In Diversity Bid

President Barack Obama nominated a diverse group of candidates Wednesday to be federal judges as the White House tries to address concerns from black lawmakers about minority representation, one nomination, Darrin Gayles, would be the first openly gay, African-American man to serve on the federal bench.
