Officials with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office are attempting to find a new home for a dog who was abandoned by his owner. According to a post to the Facebook page of the Sheriff’s Office, the dog was left with only a note explaining that his previous owner could only take one dog. Rather than bring the second animal to a shelter for adoption, he reportedly abandoned him in the former home before leaving town.
