Trevor Grout was originally born in New London, CT before moving with his family to Brandon, FL in 1989. Since a very young age he’s always loved baseball and football but fell in love with hockey when he went to the first ever Tampa Bay Lightning game when they faced the Minnesota North Stars. Like many others, his love for the Lightning reached a fever pitch on that June night in 2004 when the team won their first Stanley Cup Championship.
After attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Tampa, Trevor found his way over to 98.7 The Fan where he produces shows and runs the board for live games broadcast on 1010 AM.
When he’s not taking in a game at the Trop, Ray Jay or the Tampa Bay Times Forum, Trevor enjoys playing a wide range of sports including kickball (yes it’s really a sport) as well as football and hockey!
