“I was born and raised in Bergenfield, NJ and moved down to Dunedin, FL shortly before 11th grade because my sister was a fugitive and we were trying to hide her from law enforcement. After graduating high school, I attended St. Petersburg College where I was able to intern at the radio station. WLLD/Wild 94.1 (used to be 98.7) was born in May of 1998 and with my luck, I was able to sneak in the front door when the radio station was still in its diaper stages in October of 1998.
Shortly after showcasing my talent for cleaning toilet seats, I jumped on board the night show at that time (Big Mama and The Wild Bunch). I was on the show for a couple of years when the opportunity to intern at MTV came calling. I packed up all my belongings (sadly enough at that time it was only a pair of sweat pants, toothbrush, pair of boat shoes, a turquoise “Clearwater Beach Kicks Sand” t-shirt and a magical wand.) I took the internship and moved back up to NJ for a couple of months to make the trek back and forth to New York City to until eventually moving back to Dunedin.
After moving back to FL, I got heavily involved with the promotions department where I helped run the street team and learned how to keep a mean looking prize closet. While working with the street team, I also became the swing jock for the station which allowed me to spew nonsense on the air and have my own shifts on the weekend and occasionally during the week.
In March of 2006, Orlando (the man, not the city) asked me to become apart of the morning show as his producer and I’ve been a part of your morning drive ever since! Being a part of Orlando & the Freakshow allowed me to expose the far from artistic side of me with YouTube hits such as “Publix Bag Boy”, “Plant City Chick” and SO much more! I have shared with you some of the most intimate moments of my life (some which are very scary to say the least) and now as a part of the Kirk and Kage morning show, I’ll keep the insanity coming!!!
I love Netflix, singing karaoke, my Brooklyn Nets, Tampa Bay Bucs, messing with debt collectors and Oreo Cookies with the Strawberry Cream filling. I also hope to be apart of your daily life for many years to come here in the Tampa Bay area and I thank everyone who has supported me along the way!
May the force be with you…
