Ryan Adams is a field reporter and producer for 98.7 The Fan and a proud graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Tampa, Florida! Since finishing school back in March 2013, Ryan has quickly built his resume working in the field covering the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and currently covering the sport and team he’s most passionate about, The Tampa Bay Rays.
Born in Southfield, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, Ryan has lived locally since 1986 and immediately fell in love with the local Tampa teams. Since he was old enough to take up tee ball, Ryan has had a passion for “America’s Pastime” that he has carried with him his entire life. Four years ago, Ryan became a father and hopes that his son will share his passion for not only baseball, but sports in general, as it’s an industry Ryan hopes to be a part of for the rest of his life.
Ryan has a background in just about every sport, including five years of baseball, over a decade of hockey, and two years of high school football, all locally in the Tampa Bay area.
Since joining The Fan back in September 2013, Ryan has taken on any and all responsibilities put in front of him, including field reporting and producing live weekend shows and sports broadcasts such as NFL, NCAA football, basketball, and baseball, and network broadcasts. Ryan is humbled and honored to be a part of such an amazing family at The Fan and hopes to be a part of it for many years to come.
