Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Raymond James Stadium has been home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since it opened in 1998. Two Super Bowls have been played at the stadium – 2001 and 2009 – and it is also home to the University of South Florida Bulls football team and the site of the New Year’s Day Outback Bowl.

One of the highlights for fans who attend events at Raymond James Stadium is BucVision, which made the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the first professional team in any sport to show images on a high-definition screen.

A few other interesting factoids:

  • While the stadium is empty, the sound of a crow cawing is piped through the sound system to prevent pigeons from roosting in the rafters.
  • A huge pirate ship is permanently harbored in Buccaneer Cove. The ship, created by the same company that produces props for Walt Disney World, features cannons that are fired whenever the Bucs score.
