  1. “Obviously it’s not the best computer or it would be more popular.” Wrong. One has nothing to do with the other. Popularity is often based on effective marketing rather than superior quality. If popularity were the determinant of quality, then the Toyota Corolla would be a vastly better car than a Lamborghini. Which it isn’t.

I would say “the proof is in the pudding”. If you like to use your computer rather than face the challenge of making your computer work without crashing, you should have an Apple. If you are a computer geek who likes the challenge of “besting” your computer you should go for a PC. It is true that there are more specialized apps for the PC, because it’s easier to program, but unless you need to use a specialized app go for a Mac!

  3. Kind of an open-ended question. It depends on how you look at it? Is Apple the best computer? Or does Apple as a company have the best business practices? The first question is a slam dunk. Obviously it’s not the best computer or it would be more popular. Compared to other platforms, it doesn’t make much practical sense to own an Apple. They’re too expensive. “You get what you pay for” doesn’t really apply here.
The second question has a different answer. When Steve Jobs was in charge, I think they were the best computer company when it comes to business practices. Steve Jobs was a true capitalist through and through.

  4. Absolutely! Long-time PC owner who wouldn’t have believed how great a Mac was…. till I saw for myself. There is NO comparison! Macs do it all and do it so flawlessly.

  5. YES! because they make the hardware and software, it just works.

  7. I believe it is at least one of the best computer companies.
