Students Protest White Supremacist at Texas A&M

Protesters from around the state of Texas made their way to Texas A&M University to take a stand against white nationalist Richard Spencer, who spoke on campus Tuesday night.

Spencer is the leader of the so-called “alt-right,” a name currently embraced by some white supremacists and white nationalists to refer to themselves and their ideology, which emphasizes preserving and protecting the white race in the United States.

Spencer recently chanted “Hail Trump. Hail our people! Hail victory,” at a recent conference.

Richard Spencer was interviewed by TV news host Roland Martin a few weeks ago in a video that went viral. He apparently hopes to reach as many people as possible because of social media. He was brought to campus by a man who attended A&M briefly and as any private individual would be allowed to do, he rented space on campus in a meeting room. Read More.
