Robbers Hold 9-Year-Old Girl, Mother at Gunpoint in Store

OCALA, Fla. (AP) — Deputies are searching for two robbery suspects who they say held a 9-year-old girl and her mother at gunpoint inside an Ocala Dollar General store.

Local news agencies report the Marion County Sheriff’s Office says the men remain at large after robbing employees at the store on Monday.

Deputies say surveillance video shows one of the suspects pointing a gun at the child, ordering her and her mother to the floor. Another suspect is shown pointing a gun at two employees while they empty an undisclosed amount of money from cash register drawers into a bag.

The suspects then flee the store with the money.

Investigators say they’re working on a few leads, and are searching for two men in their 20s, both of average height and with slight build.
