Fantasy Football: Who To Start, Sit For Week 3

Bryan Altman

Last night’s Thursday Night Football game was less than thrilling from a football perspective as the Texans never made it a game and were blown out by the Patriots 27-0. It was also less than exhilarating from a fantasy football perspective unless you started the Patriots defense or LeGarrette Blount.

But if you had DeAndre Hopkins (guilty), Brock Osweiler, Julian Edelman or (gulp) Rob Gronkowski in your starting lineup last night and need to make a comeback, have no fear… As usual our CBS Sports fantasy experts are here to help you decide who to start and who to sit on Sunday and help get you back on track this week.

Without further ado, here are Jamey Eisenberg and Dave Richard’s must-start and must-sit guys for Week 3.

Jamey Eisenberg

Must Start

QB Matt Ryan vs. New Orleans Saints

WR Stefon Diggs vs. Carolina Panthers

RB Jeremy Langford vs. Dallas Cowboys

TE Travis Kelce vs. New York Jets

Dave Richard

Must Start

RB Christine Michael vs. San Francisco 49ers

TE Dennis Pitta vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

QB Russell Wilson vs. San Francisco 49ers

WR Jeremy Maclin vs. New York Jets

To hear the guys give their full explanations for each of their selections, check out the video above or click here.

Bryan Altman is, for some reason, an unabashed fan of the Rangers, Jets and Mets. If he absolutely had to pick a basketball team it would be the Knicks, but he’d gladly trade them for a championship for any of his other three teams.
