Phil Collins Hosts Benefit for Young Aspiring Artists

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Grammy Award-winning recording artist Phil Collins is hosting a benefit gala in South Florida to help provide mentoring and financial support for children aspiring to be musicians, artists and athletes.

Collins is scheduled to perform at Friday’s gala for the Little Dreams Foundation, which he and his wife, Orianne, founded in 2000. Also performing at the Fillmore Miami Beach Theater are Diego Torres, DJ Irie and Lou Gramm.

The Little Dreams Foundation’s mission is to fulfill the dreams of young aspiring talents without financial means to achieve their goals. Children are selected by auditions and matched up with mentors, who help the children potentially advance toward a professional career in the field of their true passion.
