Police: Man Arrested For Throwing ‘Hot’ Pizza Slice At Roommate During Argument

TAMPA (CBS Tampa) – An argument over pizza apparently got super-heated, reports The Smoking Gun.

Daniel Plunket, 50, allegedly threw a slice of pizza at his roommate, Brenda Fiejdasz, 56, and hit her in the left hand. According to the police report, “the pizza was hot,” but Fiejdasz “had no injury.”

When officers arrived at the Treasure Island apartment, they found Fiejdasz with pizza sauce on her shoulder.

Plunket at first denied throwing the pizza, saying Fiejdasz “threw pizza on him.” The officers noted that Plunket was not wearing a shirt, but had pizza sauce on his chest and shorts.

Plunket was charged with simple battery. He was also charged with violating the terms of his felony probation stemming from convictions on drunk driving and driving without a license.
