FBI Offers $2,500 Reward For ‘Lucky Bandit’ Bank Robber

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — The FBI is offering a $2,500 reward in the case of a South Florida serial bank robber dubbed the “lucky bandit” because he never wears a disguise.

Investigators say the same man is believed responsible for at least eight bank robberies or attempted robberies in Broward County. The crimes have occurred between October 2014 and April of this year. It’s not clear how much money has been stolen.

The perpetrator has driven a late-model black Mazda Tribute as a getaway vehicle in at least one of the robberies.

The FBI reward is for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the bank robber and any accomplices.
