Hospital strung decorative lights from the ceiling, brought in white table clothes and food from the favorite restaurant of Lazaro Fonteboa and his wife, Tracey.

They got a tuxedo shirt and tie for Fonteboa to wear.

A hospital worker played the couple’s favorite song on a flute.

The 34-year-old Fonteboa has Stage 4 metastatic kidney cancer and is unable to leave the hospital.
