USF Maintenance Worker Accused Of Making Threats Towards Ohio Elementary School

TAMPA, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – A maintenance worker from the University of South Florida has been arrested for making a violent threat against an elementary school in Ohio.

The Tampa Tribune reports that 23-year-old Kyle Anthony Parramore was arrested on campus by the USF police and the FBI.

According to WOWK-TV, a threat was made involving shooting up a southern Ohio school.  The elementary school was then put on immediately lockdown.

Parramore was booked in the Hillsborough County Jail and is being help with no bail.

According to the jail website, he is awaiting extradition to Lawrence County, Ohio.

Parramore was hired by the university just over three years ago.  His reported salary is $18,270, according to the university’s payroll department.
