Ira Kaufman: Patrick Murray Didn’t Outkick Connor Barth

Days after the Bucs trimmed their final roster down, Ira Kaufman of the Tampa Tribune joined The Booger and Ryan Show.

Kaufman said before rupturing his achilles, Connor Barth was a top 10 kicker in the NFL. However, Kaufman said any time Lovie Smith mentioned Connor Barth in a press conference, he would reference how much money he was making. Patrick Murray didn’t outkick Barth according to Kaufman. This was a move about money.
