Greg McElroy: FSU Is Still The Best Team In The Country

Greg McElroy of the SEC Network joined The Booger and Ryan Show to discuss Week 1 of the college football season.

McElroy said that Jameis Winston showed that he’s still the man against Oklahoma St. The Cowboys are well coached and FSU didn’t play their best game but the Noles still won convincingly. McElroy says to him FSU is still the best team in the country.

To Steve White, Alabama looked average against West Virginia. McElroy said the reason Bama is still so hihgly thought of is because of Nick Saban. Having said that, McElroy says that if Blake Sims is still the starting QB, they have to change up the pass game. He cannot throw the ball down field well and Lane Kiffin will have to change the scheme to fit him.

The Gators had to cancel their game against Idaho because of weather and McElroy said that it’s a major blow. They have less time to get their starters ready and this game could be made up the week before they play Ole Miss.
