Mark Cook of Pewter Pewter joins us every Friday at 4:20pm and today he discussed the Bucs preseason loss to the Redskins and bubble players on the Bucs roster.

Cook said despite the moves already made, there should be a lot more. He said if your last name isn’t McCoy, David or Jackson you may not be sleeping well this weekend. Things could change right up until the Carolina game.

Connor Barth was cut and Patrick Murray will be the starter. Cook said that it just may be the case of money. Barth was making $3.15 million and that’s a lot for a kicker. With Mankins new contract and the Bucs looking to resign Gerald McCoy, they may have just cut him loose for the cash. Cook said that he talked the Barth the other day and he didn’t seem worried about being cut at all.
