The Rays dropped two of three games at home to the New York Yankees and Joe Maddon had a message for fans who were there to cheer Derek Jeter.
“It’s great that it’s sold out, I understand that the people like Derek Jeter but you’ve gotta come out and root for the Rays too. You understand?” Maddon continued “I totally appreciate what’s going on but I’m not going to sit here and defend all of that noise in the Yankees favor in our ballpark, I’m not going to defend that. So if you’re going to come out, root for the Rays. We’d appreciate that.”
Booger and Marc discussed Maddon’s comments and whether or not he had the right to make them.
