(AUDIO) Roy Cummings: Bucs Guard Problem Is Solvable

Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune joined Marc Ryan to discuss the Bucs hole at guard and what they will do to address it.

Cummings said we have to remember that after one preseason game the Bucs aren’t going to be that sharp. There’s a new head coach, new system and new players and this is a process.

Cummings said that the offensive line isn’t an unsolvable problem. Cummings said that the Bucs are likely looking to their young guys like Kadeem Edwards to step up in the starting role. Cummings also said that he thinks the Bucs interest in 49ers guard Alex Boone is very real. They’ve likely contacted the 49ers and are probably looking around the league to bring in someone who can compete for a starting spot on the line.
