Couple Claims They Have Found 50 Snakes In Home They Rent

PUNTA GORDA (CBS Tampa) – A Florida couple got a bit more than they expected when the moved into their new rental home.

Alissia Scott and her fiancee Raymond Hisler tell WFTX-TV the snakes are not poisonous and they are small, but they present a big problem.

The couple say they’ve caught 48 snakes in the past three months and they have not gotten any help from their landlord.

They’ve had pest control over three times, but so far that has not helped with the snake problem.

The couple is withholding rent until the snakes are removed by the property owners.
