(BLOG) Rollergirl Gets You Caught Up With This Week’s Stories We Missed

It’s been a very busy week with Tiger showing up to play Valhalla, the Bucs getting ready for their first preseason game and the Rays on a long 10 game road trip but there’s plenty of stories we missed.

Early in the week The Princeton Review came out with its annual list of the nation’s top party schools. Landing at number one this year is Syracuse University. The University of Iowa is second, followed by the University of California-Santa Barbara in third. West Virginia University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign round out the top five this year. The University of Florida came in at #10

Paul George suffered a gruesome leg injury during a Team USA scrimmage in Las Vegas. We all saw the video, and X-Rays of the injury were tweeted out as well. However, the good news came a day after the injury when Paul George decided to treat himself. He purchased a brand new Ferrari convertible. The catch is he can’t drive it for some time while his leg is in a cast healing.

Who do you want to see perform at Super Bowl XLIX? Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, maybe Weird Al Yankovic? There’s a petition online to get Weird AL to be the halftime performer for the 2015 game. He has a new album out this year called Mandatory Fun. The point of this petition is that he is a good family friendly entertainer and would be something different.

Wayne Gretzky is a little upset with Dustin Johnson…as he should be. Dustin Johnson voluntarily took a leave of absence from the PGA Tour. Reportedly, Gretzky told Johnson to curb his partying or else Johnson no longer would have his blessing to marry his daughter, Paulina. Johnson and Paulina Gretzky have been dating since 2012 and got engaged August 2013.
