Former Bucs player John Gilmore joined Fan Interference this morning to give us an idea of what we can expect tonight for the first preseason game.
John says that he knows it is a cliche this time of year, but this really is a dress rehearsal for a lot of the players who just want to get their feet wet.
As a guy of played for Lovie, John says that he looks forward to Lovie being in Tampa Bay for a very long time and that he will bring a calming influence to the team that has been missing since Tony Dungy. Lovie has done a good job of making it a family atmosphere which may have been different style of coaching than this group was use to.
With any team that went 4-12 last year, there is obviously going to be things that are going to be concerns for this team. The main one that seems to pop up in every conversation is the play of the offensive line. Even within the O-line, the interior of that line is going to be where we will see how successful this team will be.
