Hours after coming off of his dominating performance against the Milwaukee Brewers, Rays starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi joined Booger and guest host Greg Linnelli of the Greg Linnelli Show.

Odorizzi said the difference between now and the beginning of the season is just time. He just needed to work out the kinks. He said he was able to adjust to hitters and that adaptation has helped.

Chris Archer and David Ortiz have had a back and forth since Sunday’s game and Odorizzi said he it was just the heat of the day. Personally he dosen;t know how he would’ve handled it.

So what’s the reason for the Rays turnaround? Odorizzi said the team is finally starting to gel. It took time but now they’re clicking and that’s what’s lead to them making up ground in the playoff race.
