Police: Man Punches Pregnant Cousin Because She Wouldn’t Share Toothpaste

PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – A man allegedly punched his pregnant cousin after she wouldn’t share her toothpaste with him.

The woman told Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies that her cousin, Lucas J. Dendy, had been living in her home for a month when the two got into an argument after she denied him toothpaste, The Palm Beach Post reported.

Dendy pushed the woman’s bedroom door open, striking her in the stomach and then allegedly punched her on the left eye.

On the arrest report, it was noted by a sheriff’s deputy that the woman had an abrasion over her left eye.

The Loxahatchee man admitted that he punched his pregnant cousin, an arrest report cited.

Dendy is in the Palm Beach County Jail and facing a charge of aggravated battery against a pregnant victim.

He is being held in lieu of $5,000 bail.
