Can you believe that ESPN2 aired a preview for the grand finals of Dota 2’s The International over the weekend? Dota The International is a 10 million-dollar tournament for the extremely popular video game. Is gaming becoming more mainstream? Quite sure gamers are happy with this move but what about hard core sports fans?

Some might fault the obvious lack of athleticism in the gamers and question what in the world sitting in front of a monitor tapping on a console has to do with sports.

On Wednesday’s edition of the Fan Morning Show, we debate whether or not gamers deserve a spot in the “sports broadcast” game.
