Yesterday, former Bucs coach Tony Dungy was quoted in a story written by the Tampa Tribune’s Ira Kaufman that if he had a chance to draft Michael Sam, he wouldn’t have done so. Dungy told Kaufman “I wouldn’t have taken him. Not because I don’t believe Michael Sam should have a chance to play, but I wouldn’t want to deal with all of it. It’s not going to be totally smooth…things will happen.” The article has caused a stir in the sports world and on social media, with some standing behind Dungy and others criticizing him for his comments.

Justin Pawlowski spent the majority of today’s edition of Fan Interference addressing Dungy’s comments, taking your calls and tweets on the subject, and talking about the reaction to Dungy in the media as well as from fans.
