(AUDIO) SEC Will Still Be King, Even Without Star Power

College football is in full swing with the start of SEC media days from Hoover, Alabama and our good friend Mike Nabors joined us from Hoover to let us know what has been the buzz surrounding the most powerful conference in the land.

In past years, the SEC would have guys attending the media day that were stars. In recent years, guys like Tebow, Manziel, and Clowney would be on display answering questions. This year, it seems like a league in transition with who are going to be players that will be standout stars. One of the big issues for the league this year will be all of the quarterbacks that this league will need to replace.

One of the constants of SEC media days has been the press conference of Steve Spurrier. For the longest time, the Ol’ Ball Coach has been an absolute gem of the week. This year, he didn’t disappoint. Spurrier decided this year to put the pressure on Nick Saban and Alabama by stating that he has put together the greatest team of all time.
