(AUDIO) Cleveland Got Goosebumps Today

Lebron James is heading home to Cleveland and John Lull from our sister station 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland joined Marc Ryan to talk about the atmosphere in Ohio.

Lull said that he got goosebumps when he heard the news. He was in his car and heard it on a 20/20 sports update. This was a message from Lerbon to the fans Lull said. He told Ohio that he’s back and he’s here to win the city the championship.

If the Heat had beat the Spurs, Lull said he thinks Lebron would’ve stayed in Miami. But after the Finals, rumors began to swirl and Cavs fans thought they may have a shot.

Lull said it was a knife to the heart to see Lerbon leave and win his first championship with the Heat. After his second, Lull said the city of Cleveland began to move on and then the idea began to creep in everyone’s mind that he might come back home. It was a slow burn of hate, to acceptance, to I may want him back to I really want him back and now they got him.
