Which MLB players are hottest now in the middle of summer?

Oakland A’s Josh Donaldson comes in at number five. He’s not only a fantastic defensive third baseman, but we’ve noticed his power has been surging since last season.

Tiger’s Miguel Cabrera comes in fourth. Cabrera boasts a .311 batting average with 14 homers and 67 RBIs.

Our bronze medalist is Yasiel Puig. It would be hard to top the season he had in 2013, but he appears to have improved in all areas.

Mike Trout had a rough start to his season. Trout became the first Angels position player to start back-to-back All-Star Games since Vladimir Guerrero.
