Bucs WR Louis Murphy joined Booger and Marc in studio to talk some Bucs football and to get the word out about his First Downs 4 Life charity event which will take place at Lakewood High School July 10th-12th.
Murphy said that the team is just grinding every day working their tails off so that the offense can get on the same page.
Murphy said it’s a blessing and a dream come true to come back home to Tampa Bay and play for the Buccaneers. He remember seeing the Bucs win the Super Bowl in 02 and even got himself a hat to wear to school the next day.
Murphy was one of Tim Tebow’s teammates and he said he, like Marc, doesn’t understand why no one has signed him. Right now he’s just going through a rough time but Murphy said he will bounce back and get back on his feet.
Murphy said Lovie Smith has been a great coach so far. He commands respect in a quiet way. The entire team is behind him.
