Man Stabs Cousin, Then Self In Pinellas Park

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. (AP) — Police are investigating a stabbing that left two men injured in Pinellas Park.

According to police, a woman called 911 Sunday night saying that her 37-year-old son had stabbed her 32-year-old nephew and then turned the knife on himself. The woman said her son had called her and said he wanted Timothy Adams out of the house. When she refused to make him leave, Olin Hess said he would stab Adams.

Officers say Hess fled after stabbing his cousin. He had a knife in his chest when officers found him.

Both men were taken to the hospital, where Adams is in stable condition and Hess has more serious injuries. Hess also faces charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

No further information was immediately available.
